Rat IGF 1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection to measure Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) in rat-derived samples. The assay is reactive with rat IGF-1 and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples as input.

Performance characteristics quoted by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a standard-curve range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 is reported as 86-102%, 83-94%, and 80-85% for serum (n=5); 86-103%, 86-96%, and 81-98% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 86-103%, 82-90%, and 88-98% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery is reported at 94-102% (average 98%) for serum (n=5), 86-105% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 85-104% (average 91%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Unopened kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
