Rat IFN-Alpha (Interferon Alpha) ELISA Kit

A high-sensitivity sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of interferon-alpha in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double antibody format with a detection range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL.

Validated linearity across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls within 83–105%. Recovery testing in the same sample types returned average values of 92% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma.

The workflow uses a biotinylated detection antibody followed by HRP-conjugated streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C, and the kit is intended for research use only.
