Rat ICOS (Inducible T-cell costimulator) ELISA Kit (RTES01138)

This Assay Genie quantitative immunoassay kit provides sensitive measurement of Inducible T-cell costimulator (ICOS) in rat research samples, supporting immunology investigations of T cell activation, costimulatory signaling, and immune regulation. ICOS belongs to the CD28 receptor family and is upregulated on activated T lymphocytes, where binding to ICOS-L on antigen-presenting cells drives proliferation, IL-10 and IL-4 cytokine production, and germinal center formation. Rodent immunology studies of transplant tolerance, autoimmune disease, allergic inflammation, and immune checkpoint biology use ICOS expression as a marker of effector T cell engagement.

Reagents supplied with the kit are sufficient for 96 separate determinations and include a capture-antibody pre-coated microplate, recombinant rat ICOS standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash concentrate, TMB substrate, and stop solution. The procedure follows an antibody-pair based workflow with calibrated standards, incubation and wash steps, and a colorimetric endpoint read at the recommended wavelength on a standard plate reader.
