Rat ICAM-2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Rat ICAM-2 (Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 2) ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA designed for the accurate measurement of ICAM-2 levels in rat samples. ICAM-2 is a cell surface glycoprotein involved in leukocyte adhesion and transendothelial migration, and aberrant expression has been linked to atherosclerosis, arthritis, and autoimmune disorders, making the kit a useful tool for research into inflammation, immune responses, and vascular diseases in rat models.

The assay uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format and is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit has a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/mL, and components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity for serum (n = 5) ranges from 86-98% at 1:2 to 95-101% at 1:8, with EDTA plasma at 83-98% to 83-98% and heparin plasma at 81-99% to 82-100% across the same dilutions. Average recovery is 95% for serum, 97% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma.
