Rat HSPE1/HSP10/Chaperonin 10 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of HSPE1 (Hsp10), also known as Chaperonin 10, in rat samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is reactive with rat. It is intended for research in the area of metabolism, where HSPE1 is studied as a chaperone protein involved in protein folding, assembly and cellular stress responses, with described relevance to neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.

Reported sensitivity is 0.563 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.938-60 ng/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity (n=5) in serum spans 83-105% across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, EDTA plasma spans 82-104%, and heparin plasma spans 81-96%. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
