Rat HSP70 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) in rat samples, using a double-antibody format. It is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 85-105% for serum, 82-101% for EDTA plasma and 81-100% for heparin plasma, with average sample recoveries of 95-97%.

The assay workflow comprises a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody step and a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding step, followed by 10-20 minutes of TMB color development in the dark and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after the stop solution is added.
