Rat HSP27 (Heat Shock Protein 27) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Heat Shock Protein 27 (HSP27) in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a double-antibody format with a colorimetric detection method, the kit provides a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.781-50 ng/mL.

HSP27 is a key protein involved in cellular stress responses, helping to protect cells from damage and promote cell survival. Dysregulation of HSP27 has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for research in these areas. Validation data report average spike-and-recovery of 97% for serum (range 93-102%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 85-103%) and 99% for heparin plasma (range 95-105%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 85-94%, 87-103% and 90-102% for serum; 84-100%, 86-93% and 83-100% for EDTA plasma; and 81-95%, 81-97% and 86-99% for heparin plasma. The assay uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, an HRP-streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
