Rat HSP-60 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative detection of Heat Shock Protein 60 (HSP-60, HSPD1) in rat samples using a double-antibody format with a colorimetric TMB readout measured at 450 nm.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, and is reported by the manufacturer as offering a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. HSP-60 is a key molecular chaperone involved in cellular stress response and protein folding, and its dysregulation has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders, autoimmune diseases, and cancer.

The assay workflow includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody incubation, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, and TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes before a stop reaction and absorbance reading. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
