Rat HSF2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Heat Shock Factor 2 (HSF2, UniProt Q9R120) in rat samples, using a double-antibody sandwich format and colorimetric detection. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. HSF2 is described as a key regulator of the heat shock response and of cellular stress response mechanisms, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic syndromes.

Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 has been verified in serum (89-104%, 87-101%, 86-101%), EDTA plasma (87-99%, 84-96%, 87-100%) and heparin plasma (87-95%, 84-88%, 80-96%) (n=5). Recovery is reported as 86-105% (average 92%) for serum, 87-102% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-99% (average 91%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Components are stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. The workflow uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) signal amplification and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
