Histidine-rich glycoprotein (HRG) is a multifunctional plasma protein with roles in coagulation, fibrinolysis, angiogenesis, and innate immune regulation, and altered circulating concentrations have been associated with sepsis, thrombotic events, and inflammatory disease in rat models. The Assay Genie Rat Histidine Rich Glycoprotein (HRG) ELISA Kit delivers a quantitative immunoassay workflow for researchers tracking HRG levels in rat-derived specimens, with reagents sized for 96 individual determinations on a standard microplate.

Each well uses a matched antibody pair immobilized on the plate to capture and detect rat HRG, with a streptavidin-HRP conjugate and TMB substrate producing the measurable color signal. Stop solution is added at the end of the development step and absorbance is recorded on a standard plate reader, allowing interpolation of sample HRG concentrations from the included standard curve.

Compatible sample types include serum or plasma specimens from rat subjects, as well as other relevant biological matrices collected in preclinical protocols.
