Rat HIF-1 alpha/HIF1A ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody immunoassay from Assay Genie, designed for accurate detection of HIF1A levels in rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The kit is intended for research use only.

HIF1A (Hypoxia-Inducible Factor 1 Alpha) is a key transcription factor that plays a crucial role in cellular responses to hypoxia, regulating the expression of genes involved in angiogenesis, metabolism, and cell survival. Dysregulation of HIF1A has been implicated in various diseases including cancer, ischemic disorders, and inflammatory conditions.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/ml and an assay range of 7.813-500 pg/ml. Recovery rates for spiked rat samples were 85-98% (average 91%) in serum, 91-105% (average 97%) in EDTA plasma, and 86-101% (average 94%) in UFH plasma. Intra-assay CV is <8% and inter-assay CV is <10%. The kit should be stored at 4°C for 6 months.
