Rat Hepatoma Derived Growth Factor/HDGF ELISA Kit

A double-antibody sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Hepatoma Derived Growth Factor (HDGF) in rat samples. The assay uses a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read on a microplate reader at 450 nm. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, and ships with a Bradford Reagent for total protein quantification and sample normalisation.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Dilution linearity was 90–104% (1:2), 82–97% (1:4) and 83–92% (1:8) for serum (n=5); 91–103% (1:2), 84–97% (1:4) and 84–94% (1:8) for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 94–104% (1:2), 90–93% (1:4) and 84–100% (1:8) for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery averaged 95% (range 85–105%) for serum, 93% (range 86–99%) for EDTA plasma and 96% (range 86–105%) for heparin plasma.
