Rat Heparanase/HPSE ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Heparanase (HPSE) in rat samples using a colorimetric detection method. The double antibody sandwich format is reactive with rat and validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Reported linearity is 87–103% (1:2), 83–99% (1:4) and 81–97% (1:8) for serum (n=5); 85–99%, 82–97% and 89–100% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 86–99%, 83–99% and 84–94% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery averages are 93% for serum, 97% for EDTA plasma and 93% for heparin plasma.

Heparanase is an endoglycosidase that degrades heparan sulfate, a key component of the extracellular matrix, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, inflammation and angiogenesis. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
