The double-antibody sandwich format uses a colorimetric detection method and is suited to research into cell biology and disease mechanisms. According to the manufacturer, HSPG is a vital component of the extracellular matrix that plays a crucial role in cell signalling, growth and differentiation, with its dysregulation implicated in cancer, inflammatory disorders and developmental abnormalities.
