Heat shock protein 90 kDa beta 1 (HSP90B1), also known as GRP94, gp96, or endoplasmin, is an endoplasmic reticulum-resident molecular chaperone involved in protein folding, calcium homeostasis, and the unfolded protein response. This microplate-format kit from Assay Genie supports quantitative measurement of HSP90B1 in experimental rat models examining ER stress, cancer biology, autoimmune disease, and immunoregulation, where the chaperone contributes to MHC class I peptide loading and tumor cell survival under hypoxic conditions.

Each kit includes a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, lyophilized standards, and assay buffer sufficient for one complete microplate of measurements. Reconstituted reagents should be stored refrigerated; the unopened kit remains stable until the expiration date indicated on the label. The protocol uses a small sample volume per well and typically requires 50 µL of diluted specimen, making it practical for studies with limited tissue material.
