Rat Gsta4/Glutathione S-transferase alpha-4 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Competitive ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of Glutathione S-transferase alpha-4 (GSTA4) in rat samples. The assay is coated with antigen and uses a colorimetric workflow, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Designed for rat reactivity, the kit is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL with a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Recovery has been validated across serum (range 88–103%, average 97%), EDTA plasma (range 86–103%, average 94%), and heparin plasma (range 85–101%, average 91%). Linearity at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 is reported at 88–101% / 96–104% / 96–104% for serum, 84–101% / 95–100% / 82–99% for EDTA plasma, and 83–100% / 83–99% / 81–98% for heparin plasma.

Kits should be stored sealed at 2–8°C and not cryopreserved. GSTA4 is an enzyme involved in cellular detoxification, including metabolism of xenobiotics and endogenous compounds, and dysregulation has been linked in research to cancer, inflammatory disorders, and neurological conditions.
