This competitive inhibition immunoassay from Assay Genie quantifies Gastrin-Releasing Peptide (GRP), a 27-amino acid neuropeptide implicated in gastrointestinal signalling, neuroendocrine regulation, and certain tumour proliferation pathways. The assay pairs a pre-coated antibody microplate with an HRP-conjugated GRP tracer that competes with endogenous peptide from rat samples for binding sites.

A 50 uL sample volume is combined with conjugate in each well, incubated, washed, and developed with TMB substrate for absorbance-based readout.
