Rat Growth hormone receptor (Ghr) ELISA Kit

Growth hormone receptor (GHR) mediates the cellular effects of growth hormone, including linear growth, hepatic metabolism, and insulin signaling. Researchers studying somatotropic axis function, pituitary regulation, or metabolic disease in rodent models use this rat-specific immunoassay from Assay Genie to quantify GHR levels in serum or plasma specimens collected from experimental animals.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant rat GHR standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent. Reconstituted standards and diluted samples are added to designated wells, followed by sequential incubation with the detection antibody and enzyme conjugate. Color development is monitored after substrate addition, and absorbance values are converted to GHR concentrations using the standard curve generated from the calibrators.

Reagent components should be kept refrigerated until first use, with the reconstituted standard stored frozen at -20 degrees C for long-term stability.
