Rat gp96/HSP90B1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich, double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie designed to quantify gp96/HSP90B1 in rat samples using a colorimetric readout.

Assay Genie reports dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 for serum (87–105%, 87–103%, 89–105%), EDTA plasma (82–101%, 85–100%, 83–101%) and heparin plasma (83–99%, 80–94%, 92–100%). Spike-and-recovery gave average values of 94% in serum, 100% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma. GP96, also referred to as Heat Shock Protein 90 Beta Member 1, is implicated in the cellular stress response and protein folding, and acts as a chaperone for antigen presentation in the immune system; altered levels have been associated with cancer, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions.
