Description

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor (GNRHR) levels in rat samples, including serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. The gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor is a key component in the regulation of reproductive functions, playing a pivotal role in controlling the release of gonadotropins and ultimately influencing fertility. Dysregulation of GNRHR signaling has been linked to various reproductive disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying reproductive health and potential therapeutic interventions.

Using a double-antibody colorimetric format, the assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. The kit is intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months and is supplied with a complete protocol covering reagent preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB color development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.

Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 82-98% in serum, 82-102% in EDTA plasma, and 82-100% in heparin plasma. Recovery averages 94% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma, supporting reliable quantification of GNRHR across a variety of research applications in reproductive biology.
