Rat GMF beta ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection for the quantitative measurement of GMF beta (Glia Maturation Factor beta) in rat samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 9.375 ng/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 ng/mL. Components are stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8). Recovery ranges are 85-99% for serum (average 91%), 90-102% for EDTA plasma (average 95%), and 89-103% for heparin plasma (average 97%).

The protocol proceeds by equilibrating reagents to room temperature, incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding a biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C, binding HRP-Streptavidin SABC for 30 minutes at 37°C, developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
