The Rat GM-CSF CLIA Kit from Assay Genie employs a sandwich chemiluminescence immunoassay to quantify Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor, a key cytokine that drives hematopoiesis and the maturation of myeloid lineages including macrophages, neutrophils, and dendritic cells. Researchers studying pulmonary inflammation, allergic airway responses, autoimmune models, or vaccine adjuvant activity use this 96-well microplate assay to measure circulating GM-CSF in serum, plasma, or tissue culture supernatants. The kit is supplied with pre-coated strip wells, lyophilized recombinant standards, luminescent-conjugated detection antibodies, and the buffers required to run the protocol.

Typical run time is approximately 3.5 hours at room temperature, with a standard curve spanning roughly 7.8 to 500 pg/mL and a lower detection limit in the low single-digit pg/mL range. Capture and detection antibody pairs have been validated for rat reactivity, and intra-assay precision generally falls under 10% CV, with spike-and-recovery typically between 80 and 110%. Unopened kits should be refrigerated at 2-8 °C; once opened, individual components can be aliquoted and frozen at -20 °C for repeated use, avoiding excessive freeze-thaw cycles. Protect the luminescent conjugate from light. For research use only.
