Rat Glycosylated HbA1C ELISA Kit

Glycosylated hemoglobin A1c is an established biomarker for monitoring long-term glucose control in diabetes, reflecting average blood sugar levels over time. Elevated HbA1c is associated with an increased risk of diabetes-related complications, making this assay a useful tool for studying disease progression and evaluating treatment strategies.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.563-100 ng/ml. Recovery was assessed by spiking rat HbA1c into serum (range 85-104%, average 95%), EDTA plasma (range 85-105%, average 96%), and UFH plasma (range 94-101%, average 96%). Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 in serum (85-104%, 89-105%, 85-102%), EDTA plasma (84-98%, 87-101%, 85-97%), and UFH plasma (80-95%, 83-99%, 80-96%). Intra-Assay CV is <8% and Inter-Assay CV is <10%. The kit is stored at 4°C for 6 months and is for Research Use Only.
