Rat Glutathione S-transferase alpha-4 (Gsta4) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of Glutathione S-transferase alpha-4 (Gsta4) in rat samples. It is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.442 ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 7.3% and inter-assay CV of 10.8%. Linearity values across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and recovery data of 98% (range 92–104%) for serum and 100% (range 94–106%) for plasma, are provided in the product documentation.

Gsta4 catalyses the conjugation of reduced glutathione to exogenous and endogenous hydrophobic electrophiles. The target is encoded by the Gsta4 gene (UniProt P14942), is localised to the cytoplasm, and is also known as GST 8-8, GST A4-4, GST K, Glutathione S-transferase Yk and GST Yk. Specificity covers natural and recombinant rat Gsta4. Reagent storage temperatures between -20°C and 4°C are specified in the packaging. For research use only.
