The Assay Genie rat G6PD ELISA kit provides a quantitative immunoassay for measuring Glucose-6-phosphate Dehydrogenase enzyme levels in rat research specimens. G6PD catalyzes the rate-limiting step of the pentose phosphate pathway, generating NADPH that maintains glutathione in its reduced state and protects cells from oxidative damage. Quantifying G6PD expression supports studies of redox biology, erythrocyte integrity, xenobiotic-induced hemolysis, and metabolic dysfunction in rat models of human disease.

Supplied as a complete 96-assay kit, the package includes a pre-coated microwell plate, calibration standards, enzyme-conjugated detection reagent, chromogenic substrate, wash concentrate, and assay buffer sufficient for the full plate.
