Rat Glia-activating factor (Fgf9) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed to quantitate Glia-activating factor (Fgf9) in rat samples. The assay targets natural and recombinant rat Fibroblast growth factor 9 and is supplied for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.6 pg/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 7.0%. Linearity has been evaluated on serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with average recovery of 103% (range 97-109%) for serum and 105% (range 99-111%) for plasma.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The target analyte is a secreted protein (UniProt P36364) involved in embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell differentiation and cell migration, with described roles in glial cell growth and differentiation.
