Rat GH (Growth Hormone) CLIA Kit (RTES00022)

Assay Genie's CLIA Kit uses a Sandwich-CLIA principle for the in vitro quantitative determination of Rat Growth Hormone (GH) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The micro CLIA plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat GH. Standards or samples are combined with the specific antibody, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat GH and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate added successively with incubation. Free components are washed away and substrate solution is added; fluorescence appears in wells containing Rat GH, the biotinylated detection antibody and the Avidin-HRP conjugate. The Relative Light Unit (RLU) value is measured by a Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer, with RLU positively associated with the concentration of Rat GH.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 37.50 pg/mL and a detection range of 62.50-4000 pg/mL, with an assay time of 3.5h and a sample volume of 100μL. The kit recognizes Rat GH in samples, and no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat GH and analogues was observed. Reproducibility is reported as both intra-CV and inter-CV below 15%. The kit is specific to rat reactivity.
