Rat GFAP (Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein) CLIA Kit (RTES00628)

This chemiluminescence immunoassay kit from Assay Genie is configured for the quantitative detection of Rat GFAP (Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein). Using a Sandwich-CLIA assay format, it runs in 3.5h and reports a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL with a detection range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL. The kit accepts serum, plasma and other biological fluids and uses a sample volume of 100μL.

Reproducibility is reported as both intra-CV and inter-CV < 15%. Linearity at 1:2 dilution produced ranges of 93-107% for serum, 94-107% for EDTA plasma, and 90-105% for cell culture media. Recovery was tested with ranges of 90-107% (average 97%) for serum, 84-100% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 101-117% (average 108%) for cell culture media. The kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Rat GFAP concentrations, recognizes Rat GFAP in samples, and shows no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat GFAP and analogues.
