Rat GDF15 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) from Assay Genie designed to detect growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15) in rat samples using a colorimetric method. The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, and is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Sensitivity is reported at 18.75 pg/mL with a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions falls within 91-105%, 85-105%, and 87-100% for serum (n=5); 89-101%, 82-100%, and 83-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 80-93%, 92-100%, and 85-100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges are 85-97% (average 90%) for serum (n=5), 89-105% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 86-103% (average 94%) for heparin plasma (n=5).

The protocol includes equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes at 37°C, colour development with TMB in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
