Rat GATA4/GATA Binding Protein 4 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, configured in a double-antibody format for the quantitative detection of GATA4 (GATA Binding Protein 4) in rat-derived samples. The assay offers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with kit components stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.

GATA4 is a key transcription factor involved in cardiac development and maintenance. It regulates gene expression in cardiac tissue and is essential for proper heart function, and its dysregulation has been implicated in various cardiovascular diseases, making it a relevant biomarker for studying these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.

Linearity was validated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, with serum ranging 85-104%, EDTA plasma 82-101%, and Heparin plasma 81-100%. Spike-and-recovery testing showed serum at 87-103% (average 95%), EDTA plasma at 88-105% (average 94%) and Heparin plasma at 90-99% (average 94%).
