Rat Gamma-enolase (Eno2) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of Rat Gamma-enolase (Eno2), also known as Neuron-specific enolase (NSE), in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant rat Gamma-enolase.

The kit has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.084 ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 5.7% and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Recovery is documented at an average of 87% (range 81–93%) for serum and 89% (range 83–95%) for plasma. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.

Gamma-enolase is an enzyme (UniProt P07323) with 2-phospho-D-glycerate hydro-lyase activity that catalyses the interconversion of 2-phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate during glycolysis. It has neurotrophic and neuroprotective properties on a broad spectrum of central nervous system neurons and is highlighted for cancer research applications. For research use only.
