Rat Frizzled-8 (Fzd8) ELISA Kit

Frizzled-8 is a receptor for Wnt proteins and a component of the Wnt-Fzd-LRP5-LRP6 complex that triggers beta-catenin canonical signaling, with downstream consequences including disheveled protein activation, inhibition of GSK-3 kinase, nuclear accumulation of beta-catenin and activation of Wnt target genes. The protein is also described as a G-protein coupled receptor involved in multicellular organismal development and angiogenesis.
