Rat FOXC2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's kit targets FOXC2, a forkhead-box transcription factor, for quantitative detection in rat-derived samples. The assay uses a Sandwich ELISA format with double-antibody detection and is validated for serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates.

Spiked-recovery testing yielded ranges of 85-105% (average 96%) in serum, 87-103% (average 94%) in EDTA plasma, and 85-103% (average 92%) in UFH plasma. Serial-dilution linearity was demonstrated across the same matrices, with values such as 91-103% recovery for serum at a 1:2 dilution. Intra-assay CV is <8% and inter-assay CV is <10%.

FOXC2 functions as a transcriptional activator and is involved in processes including cell differentiation, embryonic development, and lymphatic vessel formation; its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, obesity, and cardiovascular disorders. The target protein corresponds to UniProt entry Q63246 (NCBI Gene ID 171356) with a molecular weight of 52,854 Da. The kit is intended for research use only and is stored at 4°C for 6 months.
