Rat FLT4/VEGFR3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of FLT4 (VEGFR3) levels in rat research samples. FLT4 (VEGFR3) is a receptor involved in the regulation of lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic vessel formation, with research relevance to cancer, lymphedema, and inflammatory disorders. The assay uses a double-antibody format and falls within the cardiovascular research area.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a measuring range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The procedure comprises reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 85-102% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges from 86-105% for serum (average 95%), 93-105% for EDTA plasma (average 98%), and 86-98% for heparin plasma (average 93%).
