Rat Fibronectin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Rat Fibronectin ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay designed for the precise quantification of fibronectin levels in rat samples. Fibronectin is a key glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion, migration, and tissue repair, with abnormal levels implicated in cancer, fibrosis, and cardiovascular disorders. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is intended for research use in cell biology and disease mechanism studies.

Sensitivity is 0.094 ug/mL and the assay range is 0.156–10 ug/mL. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 86-100%, 83-101% and 90-100% for serum (n=5); 80-98%, 87-99% and 88-101% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 80-94%, 91-97% and 81-92% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges from 88-98% (average 96%) for serum, 92-103% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-105% (average 96%) for heparin plasma.

The assay uses a pre-coated plate; standards, samples and controls are incubated at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by a biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation (60 minutes, 37°C), HRP-Streptavidin SABC binding (30 minutes, 37°C), and TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes. Sample preparation protocols are provided for serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant and cell lysate. The kit includes a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate SABC (100X), TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual.
