Rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 13 (FGF13) ELISA Kit

The Rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 13 (FGF13) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of FGF13 in rat serum, plasma, and tissue-derived biological fluid samples on a microplate. FGF13, also designated FHF2 (fibroblast growth factor homologous factor 2), is an intracellular, non-secretory FGF expressed predominantly in the central nervous system, where it modulates voltage-gated sodium channel gating, axonal development, and neuronal excitability. The capture antibody shows no significant cross-reactivity with homologous rat FGF family members, supporting isoform-selective quantification relevant to epilepsy, neuropathic pain, and ion-channel biology research. Reagents are provided in sufficient quantity for 96 individual determinations, intended for research use only. Components should be stored refrigerated and protected from light, with the standard aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
