Rat Fibroblast Activation Protein Alpha (FAPa) ELISA Kit

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie for measuring Fibroblast Activation Protein Alpha in rat-derived samples, supplied as a complete kit with 96 assays per box. Fibroblast Activation Protein Alpha (FAPα) is a homodimeric ~170 kDa type II transmembrane serine protease selectively expressed on activated fibroblasts, including cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) within the tumor stroma, granulation tissue during wound repair, and fibrotic lesions. Because most healthy adult tissues show little or no detectable FAPα expression, the protein is widely used in oncology and fibrosis research as a marker for stromal remodeling, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, and tumor microenvironment dynamics.

The kit is provided as a single-use plate-based assay bundle intended for research use only, and includes pre-coated wells, detection antibody, standards, and assay buffer sufficient for 96 determinations. Samples such as serum, tissue homogenates, and cell culture supernatants can be processed in a standard microplate workflow with absorbance read on a plate reader.
