Rat FGF-10 ELISA Kit

For research into fibroblast growth factor 10 in rat samples, Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit built on a double-antibody, colorimetric format. The assay is designed for the reliable detection of FGF-10 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, supporting a broad range of research applications.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an analytical range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Validation data demonstrate strong linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 for serum (88–99%, 87–92%, 84–100%), EDTA plasma (87–100%, 82–95%, 83–100%), and heparin plasma (91–104%, 82–101%, 90–100%). Spike-and-recovery performance is reported at 86–104% for serum (average 97%), 88–101% for EDTA plasma (average 94%), and 87–101% for heparin plasma (average 92%).

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples, and blanks onto the pre-coated plate, then incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes for primary antigen binding. Biotin-labeled detection antibody is added for a 60-minute incubation, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes. Color develops with TMB substrate over 10–20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after stop solution is added. FGF-10 (also known as KGF-2 or keratinocyte growth factor 2; UniProt P70492) plays a key role in cell growth, tissue repair, and development, particularly in the respiratory and skeletal systems, and its dysregulation has been implicated in lung disorders and certain cancers. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
