Rat FDP/Fibrinogen Degradation Product ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this double-antibody Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate measurement of fibrinogen degradation products in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The assay offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL, with a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, and components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity was validated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with serum ranging 85-103%, EDTA plasma 83-101% and heparin plasma 80-99%. Recovery ranged from 91-94% in serum (average 93%), 90-100% in EDTA plasma (average 94%) and 89-105% in heparin plasma (average 96%). Fibrinogen degradation products are biomarkers for assessing coagulation and fibrinolysis in conditions such as thrombosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, and liver disease, and the kit is read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.
