Rat FBP1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of FBP1 in rat samples. The assay is reactive with rat and validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with read-out at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. The kit has a reported sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL, and is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

FBP1 (Fructose-1,6-Bisphosphatase 1) is a key gluconeogenic enzyme that contributes to the regulation of glucose metabolism and blood sugar balance; its dysregulation has been associated with metabolic disorders such as diabetes, making it a useful biomarker in metabolism research. Reported linearity (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) was 88-102%, 85-98% and 82-98% for serum, 82-100%, 84-96% and 89-99% for EDTA plasma, and 83-99%, 80-100% and 85-94% for heparin plasma (each n=5). Reported recovery averaged 99% (range 86-104%) in serum, 97% (range 88-105%) in EDTA plasma, and 93% (range 86-102%) in heparin plasma.
