Rat FABP1/L-FABP ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of Fatty Acid Binding Protein 1 (FABP1), also known as Liver Fatty Acid Binding Protein (L-FABP), in rat samples. FABP1 is a key protein involved in fatty acid metabolism and liver function, playing a crucial role in lipid transportation and storage, and is considered a valuable biomarker for studying metabolic disorders, liver diseases, and obesity-related conditions.

Built on a Sandwich ELISA, double antibody format, the assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL with a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL, and recoveries in serum of 83–95% (average 89%), EDTA plasma of 90–100% (average 97%), and heparin plasma of 80–97% (average 88%).
