Rat F13 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit designed for the quantitative measurement of F13 (Coagulation Factor XIII) in rat samples. The assay is reactive with rat and uses a colorimetric detection method, delivering a sensitivity of 9.375 ng/mL and an analytical range of 15.625-1000 ng/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Performance is supported by reported linearity values across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 serial dilutions for serum (90-99%, 87-101%, 88-102%), EDTA plasma (82-97%, 84-94%, 82-100%) and heparin plasma (83-97%, 81-95%, 81-98%). Recovery ranges of 85-101% (average 91%), 87-104% (average 95%) and 87-101% (average 93%) were reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, respectively.

The workflow involves reagent equilibration to room temperature, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Sample preparation guidance is provided for serum (clot, 1000 × g, 20 minutes), plasma (anticoagulant tubes, 1000 × g, 15 minutes at 2-8°C), tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant (2500 rpm, 5 minutes) and cell lysate.
