Rat F12 ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of F12 in rat samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric, double-antibody detection method. F12, also known as coagulation factor XII or Hageman factor, is a key protein in the coagulation pathway with a role in blood clotting, and its dysregulation has been linked to thrombotic and inflammatory conditions.

The assay is intended for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 23.438 ng/mL and an assay range of 39.063-2500 ng/mL. Spiked-sample linearity is reported at 85-104% for serum, 82-100% for EDTA plasma and 80-92% for heparin plasma at a 1:2 dilution, with comparable values at 1:4 and 1:8, and recovery averages of 94% (serum), 96% (EDTA plasma) and 93% (heparin plasma).

The workflow follows a standard sandwich protocol with a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm; the manufacturer notes that specific instructions are included with each kit.
