Rat F10 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of Factor X (F10) levels in rat samples. The kit supports research into the blood clotting cascade, where Factor X is a key component essential for clot formation, and where dysregulation is associated with bleeding disorders or thrombosis. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.625-40 ng/mL. Linearity in serum was 91-104% at 1:2, 83-100% at 1:4, and 81-99% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma 89-102%, 84-97%, and 81-100%; and in heparin plasma 91-104%, 82-93%, and 81-99%. Recovery ranged from 89-101% in serum (average 95%), 85-103% in EDTA plasma (average 96%), and 87-105% in heparin plasma (average 95%). The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The protocol proceeds through reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
