Rat F1+2/Prothrombin Fragment 1+2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's rat-reactive immunoassay is configured as a sandwich ELISA with a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of prothrombin fragment 1+2 (F1+2), a marker released during prothrombin activation and thrombin generation within the coagulation cascade. Colorimetric detection is achieved through a TMB substrate with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and reports a sensitivity of 28.125 pg/mL with a measuring range of 46.875-3000 pg/mL. Linearity was assessed across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: serum (n = 5) 85-103%, 85-105%, 87-101%; EDTA plasma (n = 5) 82-99%, 91-100%, 87-99%; heparin plasma (n = 5) 81-99%, 84-97%, 85-100%.

Spike-and-recovery testing gave average recoveries of 92% for serum (n = 5, range 88-99%), 94% for EDTA plasma (n = 5, range 87-105%), and 96% for heparin plasma (n = 5, range 89-105%). Kits should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
