Rat Endoglin (ENG) ELISA Kit

Endoglin (CD105) is a homodimeric TGF-β co-receptor abundantly expressed on proliferating vascular endothelium, and altered levels of its soluble ectodomain are used in vascular biology, tumor angiogenesis, and cardiovascular research as a marker of neovascularization and endothelial activation. The Rat Endoglin immunoassay from Assay Genie provides a quantitative tool for measuring this protein in rat-derived sample matrices, including tissue homogenates.

Endoglin modulates signaling by TGF-β1 and BMP9/10, and abnormal shedding is implicated in preeclampsia, pulmonary hypertension, and tumor microvessel density in rodent models. The kit is supplied as a complete reagent set in a microplate strip format with all buffers, standards, and detection antibody required to run the assay in vitro. Reconstituted standards and unused strips should be refrigerated, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles of prepared samples should be avoided to preserve epitope integrity.
