Rat Elongation factor 1-alpha 1 (Eef1a1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of rat Elongation factor 1-alpha 1 (Eef1a1). The assay uses colorimetric detection and is reactive with rat samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity covers natural and recombinant rat Eef1a1, and the kit is designated for research use only.

Performance data supplied by Assay Genie indicate a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.053 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.9% and inter-assay CV is 8.0%. Reported recovery averages 89% for serum (range 83–95%) and 91% for plasma (range 85–97%). Linearity in serum (N=5) at dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is 96–106%, 85–85%, 108–118% and 98–108% respectively; EDTA plasma (N=5) yields 105–114%, 102–112%, 88–97% and 103–112%; heparin plasma (N=5) yields 107–117%, 103–113%, 100–110% and 86–94%. The target protein (UniProt P62630, NCBI Gene ID 171361) has a reported molecular weight of 50,114 Da and is associated with the Epigenetics research area.
