Rat Early Growth Response Protein 2/EGR2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of Early Growth Response Protein 2 (EGR2) in rat samples, this sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody, colorimetric workflow. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reagents are intended for storage at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months under those conditions. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and a pre-coated plate, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute detection antibody binding step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin incubation, 10–20 minutes of TMB colour development in the dark, and an absorbance read at 450 nm after adding the stop solution.

Linearity has been verified across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with serum recoveries of 85–102%, 88–101% and 88–104%; EDTA plasma at 82–99%, 87–99% and 87–101%; and heparin plasma at 82–99%, 85–98% and 87–99%. Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) showed ranges of 86–105% (mean 93%) for serum, 91–105% (mean 97%) for EDTA plasma and 90–102% (mean 97%) for heparin plasma.
