Rat Dihydrolipoyl dehydrogenase, mitochondrial/DLD ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative detection of Dihydrolipoyl dehydrogenase (DLD) in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric readout reaches a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL across a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL.

DLD is a key enzyme of the mitochondrial tricarboxylic acid cycle, supporting energy generation through ATP production, and its dysregulation has been associated with metabolic disorders and mitochondrial dysfunction, making it a useful biomarker for research in these areas.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standards, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealers, and a technical manual. Storage is at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. Reported recovery averages 91% for serum (87–105%), 99% for EDTA plasma (93–102%), and 93% for heparin plasma (88–101%), with linearity of 88–104% in serum, 87–99% in EDTA plasma, and 90–98% in heparin plasma at a 1:2 dilution.
