Rat Dermcidin (DCD) ELISA Kit

Dermcidin (DCD) is an antimicrobial peptide originally identified in sweat and expressed across a range of rat tissues, where it contributes to innate immune defense at epithelial surfaces. The Assay Genie ELISA Kit for Rat Dermcidin enables researchers to quantify DCD and its processed fragments, including DCD-1, in tissue homogenates and other validated sample matrices.

This 96-assay enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay uses a colorimetric read-out compatible with standard microplate readers, making it appropriate for higher-throughput studies of skin barrier function, wound healing, and stress-response models in rodents. Each kit contains pre-coated wells, calibrators, detection reagents, and buffers required for the in vitro quantitative measurement of rat dermcidin.
